After completion of his studies he worked 2 years in investment banking in Brussels before starting his PhD on "Risk Return and Value in the Family Firm". For his publications he was awarded the Peter Wehrhahn Prize 2006 at the University of St.Gallen and the Honorable Mention Award at the Best Dissertation Award 2006 by the Family Firm Institute, Boston (MA). He is a research Fellow at Bason College, Boston. Currently he is a lecturer at the University of St. Gallen in the field of family firm management and holds the position of co-director of the Center for Family Business at the University of St.Gallen.
